When Is It To Late To Quit Smoking?

It doesn’t matter if you have been a smoker for a decade or more, or you have only smoked a few years. The bottom line is that you are addicted and you are harming your body, and the people around you with the second hand smoke. The only good thing that derives from smoking is that it is “never” to late to quit.

So, you have tried to quit smoking but it was uneventful. Try again. Eventually you will quit. To quit smoking is a mindset. Keep in mind the rewards you are going to receive after you kick the habit. Think about the money you’ll save, how proud your friends ands family will be. Think about your health; your blood pressure will almost automatically go down, everything will taste better, that cough will go away, shortness of breath will reside, and you are prolonging your life span and reducing your risks for heart disease, stroke, artery disease and cancer.

The reasons listed above should be enough to make you quit smoking. You can learn to live life without a cigarette. You can deal with stressful situations without a cigarette. It may not seem so at this minute but it is true. If you don’t feel you can do this alone; check with your doctor, hospital and local health department. Somewhere close to you there is a clinic, a support group and someone who cares enough to help you kick the habit.
